NBA basketball star Shaquille O'Neal goes to Phoenix Suns
Miami Heat basketball team have traded Shaquille O'Neal with the Phoenix Suns in a two-man exchange for All-Star forward Shawn Marion and guard Marcus Bank.
The Phoenix Suns reckon they have a good deal because Shaquille O'Neal is a four-time NBA champion and regarded as one of the biggest names in US sport.
Steve Kerr, who is in charge of the Phoenix Suns said: "We are thrilled to add a player and person of Shaquille's quality to our roster."
In the past, Shaquille O'Neal had come to fame with the Orlando Magic before joining the LA Lakers in 1996, where he won most of his titles.
However, despite his brilliant past record as a basketball player Shaquille O'Neal, 35, has been having problems this season due to injuries, and in fact he has only played four games since 27 December.
Shaquille O'Neal has a hip injury at present, however in spite of this, the Phoenix Suns are totally convinced they have made an excellent move in getting him to join them.
