LeBron James triumphs for the Cleveland Cavaliers
LeBron James scored the last of his 45 points with 0.9 seconds left in overtime to lead Cleveland Cavaliers to triumph over Washington in the NBA play-offs.
The Cleveland Cavaliers, who were leading by eight points in the final minutes of normal time, finally won 121-120 and took a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.
The winners will be up against Detroit Pistons, who wrapped up a 4-1 series win against Milwaukee Bucks by taking game five 122-93.
"It shouldn't have gone to overtime," said LeBron James after Cleveland Cavaliers' win.
"We just found a way to win. We had some execution problems but things happen.
"You can't let adversity kill your spirit," added LeBron James.
Richard Hamilton made his best ever play-off return of 40 points when the Detroit Pistons cruised past the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Detroit Pistons will be taking advantage of finishing the series early to take a break before coming back for their bid to win a second title in three years.
