Baseball veteran Roger Clemens gave Houston fans a treat
Veteran baseball pitcher Roger Clemens gave Houston fans a treat in what may have been the last home outing as the Astros defeated Cincinnati 7-2.
Roger Clemens, 44, aka 'The Rocket' pitched six scoreless innings and left the mound to a standing ovation with career win 348.
Roger Clemens is scheduled to make two more road starts before the end of the season but still has to decide if they will be his last before he retires from the sport.
"If I decide to come back and play, I have to be able to perform," Roger Clemens said.
"I don't know how to answer (whether I'll be back)," Roger Clemens added.
"I thought it was over three years ago, and I've had to really come back and challenge myself to get it done," Roger Clemens also said.
After pitching for America at the World Baseball Classic, Roger Clemens took his time before he decided to return to the mound for his hometown Astros for a third season.
"You're just watching an absolute legend who's not just hanging on," said Astros manager Phil Garner.
