Tiki Barber leads New York Giants to NFC honours
On New Year's Eve an incredible display by Tiki Barber ensured that the
New York Giants gained their first NFC East title since 2001.
Tiki Barber rushed for 203 yards, including a franchise-record 95-yard
touchdown run, as the New York Giants defeated the Oakland Raiders
30-21.
Plaxico Burress and Eli Manning also scored while Jay Feely added three field goals.
The Oakland Raiders ended the season with a disappointing 4-12 and finished bottom of the AFC West division.
And in San Diego, the Denver Broncos eased to a comfortable 23-7 win over the Chargers.
Tatum Bell scored three touchdowns while pressure from Denver's John Lynch set up the first score of the game.
John Lynch also drilled San Diego quarterback Drew Brees forcing him to leave the field with a shoulder injury.
The Denver Broncos had already clinched the AFC title and have a bye in the first round of the play-offs.
