Randy Moss helps New England Patriots win
American football wide receiver Randy Moss caught one of three touchdown passes from quarterback Tom Brady and in so doing helped the New England Patriots defeat the New York Jets 38-14 on Sunday.
Randy Moss, 30, who joined New England patriots from Oakland, hauled in nine passes for 183 yards and a score on a 51-yard play-action pass from Tom Brady and he said: "I felt pretty good."
And cornerback Ellis Hobbs returned the second-half kick-off 108 yards to equal the record for the longest play in NFL history, and he commented: "They pay me to return kicks, not kneel the ball."
Ellis Hobbs added: "I tell those guys (his blockers) all the time, even in practice; I'm bringing it out."
The past NFL record was set by the Chicago Bears' Nathan Vasher in 2005 and was equal to that set by the Chicago Bears' Devin Hester last year, and in both cases the players returned missed field goals of 108 yards.
