New England Patriots Tom Brady to play in spite of injury

tom New England Patriots Tom Brady says he intends playing against the New York Giants in Sunday's Super Bowl although he has been away from training due to ankle problems.

Tom Brady, who plays as quarterback, was seen wearing protective footwear last week, but he hopes to help the New Rngland Patriots to become the second team to achieve an unbeaten season in recent times.

Tom Brady said: "This won't keep me out of this game... It would have to take a helluva lot more than an ankle. It is feeling good. I will be ready to go. It has been a good week."

The only other American football team to have won all their games including a Super Bowl were the 1 Miami Dolphins who scored a 17-0 win in 1972.

Tom Brady went on to say: "I think we have an incredible opportunity as a team. I am incredibly proud of what we have accomplished thus far and we have talked as a team that for the rest of our lives we'll all remember this week, win or lose."
