Joey Harrington guides Miami to a win over Detroit
Joey Harrington played well on Thanksgiving Day as Miami Dolphins inflicted a 27-10 home defeat on Detroit Lions.
Quarterback Joey Harrington passed for three touchdowns as the Miami Dolphins (5-6) rallied from a 10-point deficit.
Joey Harrington had entered the game with a 1-3 record and no TDs, but returning to Ford Field, which he knew well from when he had played for the opposing team, brought out the best out of his ability.
Joey Harrington completed 19 of his 29 passes for 213 yards and was intercepted once only as Miami Dolphins clenched a fourth straight win after they had had a mixed start to the season.
Detroit Lion's fans were happy as their team went 10-0 up on their first two drives, however, the Miami Dolphins fought back with two first-half touchdowns and Joey Harrington's third making the score 24-10 late in the third quarter.
