Jacksonville Jaguars beat New York Giants

jagsAmerican football star David Garrard threw for 249 yards as Jacksonville Jaguars clinched a 26-10 home win over the New York Giants.

And Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew scored rushing touchdowns, whilst Josh Scobee kicked four field goals against former Jacksonville Jaguars coach Tom Coughlin's team.

Plaxico Burress caught a 25-yard pass from Eli Manning for the New York Giants' only touchdown of the game, however, Manning never really managed to get his team going after Jay Feely's 40-yard field goal on the game's first drive.

David Garrard wound up 19-for-31 with no interceptions and Eli Manning was just 19-for-41 for 230 yards and two interceptions.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are 6-4 behind the Indianapolis Colts (9-1) in the AFC South and the New York Giants second straight loss dropped them into a tie with Dallas Cowboys for the NFC East leading position.
