Indianapolis Colts beat New Orleans Saints

peyton The America football team the Indianapolis Colts have started the new NFL season well with a 41-10 home win against the New Orleans Saints on Thursday.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning completed 18-of-30 pass attempts for 288 yards and three touchdowns and he said: "This is just one game, it takes 16 games. It sure was a good start but that's all it is."

Peyton Manning is hoping to become the first NFL player ever to toss 25 TD passes in 10 seasons in a row.

The Indianapolis Colts began well with Peyton Manning throwing a 27-yard touchdown pass to receiver Marvin Harrison, and it was actually the 107th time that Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison had combined for a TD.

But the New Orleans Saints gave them a good battle and both teams traded field goals to end the half at 10-10.

The Indianapolis Colts showed they intedned to win in the third quarter with Peyton Manning making a pair of drives capped off by TDs from Joseph Addai and Wayne to push the score 24-10 ahead.
