Dallas Cowboys beat Indianapolis Colts
Indianapolis Colts, the only team in NFL history to start 9-0 in consecutive seasons, have had their run of success terminated by Dallas Cowboys in a 21-14 defeat.
Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns, but he was intercepted twice.
"Fundamentals still win in this league - you can't do the things we did and win," said Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy.
Elsewhere, Philadelphia Eagles suffered a serious defeat against Tennessee, losing 24-13 and had to watch QB Donovan McNabb leave the game due to knee injury.
Donovan McNabb was taken out of touch after he made an incomplete pass, landed badly and hurt his right anterior cruciate ligament.
"That's normally an eight month to a year injury, so he's done for the year," Philadelphia Eagles coach Andy Reid explained.
And Brett Favre, who has started an NFL record 251 consecutive games, was not able to finish for Green Bay in a 35-0 defeat by New England.
