American footballer Brett Favre helps Green Bay Packers win
American football star Brett Favre threw his 420th career touchdown pass to lead Green Bay Packers to a surprise win against the San Diego Chargers, and in doing so he tied with Dan Marino's all-time NFL record.
Brett Favre, who is soon to celebrate his 38th birthday and who is in his 17th NFL season, made a 57-yard pass to Greg Jennings to claim a 24-21 lead.
The Green Bay Packers then won 31-24, giving a second defeat this year to the San Diego Chargers.
And just a week ago, Brett Favre guided the Green Bay Packers past the New York Giants for his 149th win as a starter, and beating John Elway's record.
Brett Favre is reported to have recently said that Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning will probably end up breaking the touchdown pass mark in a few years.
Brett Favre explained: "I know it's a lot of touchdowns but if you play a long time, that means you're playing fairly well."
